Ellen Nanni-Vargas is a mixed-media artist, working primarily in painting and drawing. Her work synthesizes elements of the natural landscape with personal symbols drawn from her inner world. Her bright compositions are constellations of memories, inspiration, and delight. Ellen received a BFA in Printmaking from Syracuse University (2009), an MAT in Art Education from Rhode Island College (2015), and an MFA in Visual Art from Lesley University (2023). She currently lives and works in Providence, RI.
